Former Los Angeles Unified School District Language Arts teacher; grades 6 - 12. Looking forward to helping your child not only become more proficient readers and writers, but to like reading and writing as well!
Additionally, I am a mom, myself! I have a son in upper elementary and an older son in middle school, so I understand the challenges involved in working with the older student. But I prefer working with this group, because of the rewards! I love watching them spring to life as concepts click with them. The true goal is to present them with ideas, and then, allowing them to run with it!
