TechTeam Global is a global provider of IT solutions and business process outsourcing services. Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, we have a position available at our client's site in Los Angeles, CA for a System Implementation Engineer!
The Engineer is a critical role in the successful planning and deployment of our client's proprietary software solutions in their client's environment. The Engineer is responsible for developing the overall field deployment process, field deployment plans,, and deploying the proprietary software solution. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge, skills, and experience in the following areas: - Proprietary software package deployment planning in large scale deployment projects - Deployment site survey analysis and reporting in large scale deployment projects - Team Leadership capabilities in large scale deployment projectsRequired Qualifications - Must be able to obtain a security clearance - 4-year IT degree 2 years of successful industry experience OR 6 years of successful industry experience - Positive attitude, excellent communication skills (verbal & written) - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team - Ability to quickly identify and solve problems - Career minded with a strong work ethic -Overall systems design experience for large enterprise class deployment of Package Applications - Virtualization of Wintel systems using ZEN Virtualization, VMware ESX infra 3, MS Hyper-V - Load-balancing using Cisco CSM - SAN storage using IBM SVC and Cisco SAN (MDC9500) products - Windows Server configuration - Design and configuration of Citrix solutions - Design and configuration of web applications - SQL Server system design
Preferred Qualifications Food Service industry IT experience Previous customer training skills Programming skills (Visual Basic, .NET, Crystal Reports, MS Access, XML) Project Management experience, and familiarity with MS Project
