The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the department which includes: sales, merchandising, operations, staff selection and supervision, training and development, loss prevention and expense control.
Responsibilities
*Provides customer service and ensures that it is a priority, by monitoring all associates' personal sales, IPG (items per guest) and average sales.
*Monitor and maintain department presentation and ensure consistency with merchandising guidelines.
*Monitor and control payroll and shrinkage goals.
*Hiring, training and supervision of new sales associates.
*Prepares department for physical inventories, through monitoring the process of all incoming/outgoing merchandise.
*Abides by and adheres to all applicable company policies and procedures.
*Additional responsibilities as required by management.

Job Requirements
*Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend shifts, as dictated by the needs of the business, with the ability to respond to department emergency situations.
*High school diploma or equivalent required. 
*Minimum of 6 months retail experience, with at least 2 months experience in a supervisory capacity.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Superior customer service and follow through skills.
