Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position is subject to the Caltrans Internal Hiring restrictions. Under the direction of the Office Chief of Right of Way engineering and a Senior Transportation Surveyor, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) will be responsible for providing General Administrative and personnel support; purchasing, monitoring and tracking Office supplies for the Office of Right of Way Engineering. SSA will also be responsible for purchasing, monitoring, and tracking Office supplies for seven branches of the Division of Design. The position requires the individual to maintain consistent and regular attendance; communicate effectively, orally and in Writing, in dealing with public inquiries, vendors and/or other employees; develop and maintain knowledge and skills.
