Do you have 3-5 years experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant? Are you interested in working for a World Class Entertainment firm that is a leader in their industry? If so, please read on! Roles and Responsibilities: Handle all domestic tax issues for Decurion entities as well as affiliated entities owned by the family owners. This includes coordination with Accounting Department and outside tax firm(s) in preparing federal and state income tax Assist in special projects and research related thereto through partnership with various internal and external communities Liaise between Accounting Department and outside tax preparers in the preparation of domestic tax compliance including federal and state income tax filings (including creation and maintenance of annual tax workpapers and permanent files), quarterly estimates and extension requests Assist in reviewing federal and state income tax filings prepared by outside tax preparers Assist with various federal and state tax information requests for controversies Research matters related to assigned tax return filings and other miscellaneous tax questions Assist in the implementation/re-engineering of computer-based fixed asset tax depreciation system and on-going maintenance of tax depreciation Needs and Requirements: 3 to 5 recent years tax experience, preferably in a major corporation and Big 4 accounting firm (but not required), preferably specializing in the real estate industry Proficiency in standard corporate technology, operating systems and software. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in dealing with general business issues including external factors, keeping abreast of changes in tax code, filing requirements, and planning opportunities, to ensure compliance with all tax laws that impact the business Solid background in U.S. corporate tax compliance, including S corporation, partnership, limited liability company and individual tax compliance Good understanding in GAAP accounting Bachelors degree in accounting CPA desirable Perks and Benefits: Unparallel culture and core values.
