With over 30 years of experience as principal investors, we have the in-house experience to complete complex transactions and the operating capability to manage our acquisitions. Senior Real Estate Fund accountant We are seeking a senior level accounting professional to be responsible for all real estate books and play an important leadership role with all transactions with lenders and joint venture partners.  Responsibilities:·        Prepare monthly property level operating statements and balance sheets·        Prepare and maintain cash flow projections and budgets for all properties·        Monitor and improve upon existing accounting procedures in place to manage the properties·        Review and record closing statements for newly acquired properties·        Work directly with external property managers to incorporate property level financial statements into fund·        Work directly with all groups within the company (asset management, legal, acquisitions, etc.)·        Update and maintain financial systems and software to satisfy all internal/external reporting requirements·        Oversee the preparation and distribution of annual 1099 Miscellaneous Income reports·        Maintain banking relationships·        Perform ad-hoc reports or analysis·        Develop existing accounting/bookkeeping staff and build team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline 4 - 7 years specializing in Real Estate Accounting Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities and achieve quality results, work independently and remain very well-organized Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of Property Management Software (i.e. Yardi) is preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data Interest in the real estate investment processBenefits:We value our employees’ time and efforts.
