The Clinical Coordinator is a Registered nurse with recognized leadership abilities and sound clinical skills who will actively assist the Nursing Director/Manager in coordinating the day:to:day activities of the nursing unit. The Clinical Coordinator takes a leading role in activities such as nursing performance improvement, job performance evaluations, staffing, scheduling, and working with Directors and preceptors in the orientation and training of new employees.

Requirements
Minimum Education:
: Eligibility, as defined the california Board of Nursing, to sit for the Registered Nurse licensing examination.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
: One:year experience in an acute care setting immediately prior to application strongly preferred.

Required License/Certification:
: A valid California Registered Nursing License. Specialty certification preferred.
: A current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider card issued by the American Heart Association.
: Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support card from the American Heart Association required for Intensive Care, Step:down, and Telemetry.
: CPI (Psychiatry)
: LPS within 90 days of hire (Psychiatry)
: A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 90 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
