An effective tutor does not merely share its knowledge, but works hard to establish positive attitude and motivation towards the subject he/she teaches.

Most students begin to dislike science because it seems intimidating from initial encounter. However, crossing through this journey myself, I believe that studying science is nothing but common sense if proper study habits are utilized.

I have earned my Bachelor of Science degree in biology with honors from california State University, Los Angeles. The subjects that I would like to tutor are organic chemistry and biology. I have a deep understanding in these subjects and would like to share my passion and knowledge with students who have a hard time comprehending chemistry or biology.

As a student myself, I have developed effective study skills and methods that will yield excellent results. I mostly encourage the use of flashcards, note taking, self-quizzes, building organic molecules from models for better three- dimensional visualization, which I will provide during the tutoring sessions and many other effective techniques.

Nevertheless, I believe that an effective tutor can make every student’s fear of a subject a thing in the past.
