Full-time Commissioning Manager with solid management/leadership skills to lead the commissioning process including schedule, team, and budget, interfacing heavily with staff, management and clients.
Responsibilities:

Prepare commissioning budgets in conjunction with estimators.
Define commissioning requirements for projects including the review/development of commissioning specifications and testing requirements.
Verify site installations conform to contract documents and coordinate start-up of equipment/systems.
Full documentation of commissioning deliverables for each project.
Provide technical support to Clients as part of the project delivery.
Manage project profitability.
Oversee new commissioning, re-commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.

Qualifications:

BS or MS in Mechanical engineering.
State licensure in Professional Engineering.
Professional certificate in commissioning (CxA or equal) from nationally recognized organization limited to AABC, AEE, BCA, or NEBB.
Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial, industrial and/or institutional construction with an emphasis on management.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical & Electrical systems, electrical equipment.
Thorough understanding of LEED Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning requirements.
Project management experience (planning and managing resources to achieve project objectives).
Strong organizational, time management, decision making, and analytical skills.
Experience communicating technical material to a non-technical audience both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations).
Strong computer, MS Word, Excel, technical writing, risk management and communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
LEED AP designation a plus.
Marketing experience a plus.
