IS SUPPORT CENTER ANALYST NEEDED! – Los Angeles

Well known Law Firm is looking for an IS Support Center Analyst. This position is a support role with the primary responsibility of providing the highest quality support possible as the First Point of Contact support to customer constituencies. Duties: Troubleshoot customer problems/issues utilizing standard tools, including other Support Center Team members, Perform effectively as a first level technical resource to resolve software and basic hardware related problems. Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Operating Systems, basic desktop, laptop, and printer hardware issues. Requirements: College Degree and/or equivalent certifications preferred; One plus years experience in LAN, WAN and network systems support and management; Two plus years of prior IT experience, working within a hierarchical support organization model providing direct support to customers in the areas of software, hardware and networking technologies; Microsoft Certified Professional Certification preferred; and Technical experience configuring, installing and maintaining client PC operating systems and related devices. Knowledge of: Windows XP and 2003 (intermediate to advanced level); Microsoft XP or 2003 Office Suite (intermediate to advanced level); Interwoven Document Management Systems (basic level); Microsoft Word and Excel (basic level); Troubleshoot basic desktop and laptop applications and printer hardware issues; Remote access applications and technologies (e.g., Citrix Metaframe, VPN, RAS) (basic to intermediate level); PDA technologies (e.g., BlackBerry); Enterprise networking technologies, cabling topologies and related applications; Microsoft Operating System and application installation and configuration processes; Installation and configuration of modem, data communication devices, networking devices and cabling; Practice Support applications and technologies.
