The company is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has a sales, support and training facility in Houston, Texas. The company is a subsidiary of a large multi-million dollar conglomerate.We are in need of a professional individual to fill the role of an Account Manager. This is an extremely fast-paced business environment that requires the candidate to be extremely organized, persistent, hardworking, energetic, and motivated by success. This position is responsible for achieving the account retention and sales revenue objectives for the companys product line within one or more defined markets or territories. The position is also responsible for working with channel distribution companies and OEMs, targeting accounts within one or more markets or territories. The compensation for the right person consists of a generous base salary and commission that could exceed $125K for the total package of performing on plan. A company car and excellent benefits are also included.Job DescriptionExceptional growth has created the need for multiple Account Managers with our client.Primary Job DutiesFocuses on the retention and growth of existing accounts. Identifies and pursues opportunities to develop new accounts.Maintains all existing account revenue run rates.Identifies and pursues all opportunities to expand the sales of products, support services and professional services within all accounts.Manages existing account relationships at all levels on a daily basis.Participates in the creation of strategic account plans.Executes account strategies at the tactical level.Works closely with the product and services delivery teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Works with other Account Managers and Revenue Account Managers in order to grow or extend opportunities within designated market segments.Generate revenue through direct OEM Channels and also through existing indirect channel partners.Requirements:Job Requirements4-year college degree or two year technical degree with solid sales experience. An Engineering Degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of large account professional selling experience within an industrial type products industry.Candidates coming from companies such as Waukesha Engine, Catepillar, Cooper, Ingersol-Rand, etc. will be strongly considered.Working knowledge of Large Engine and/or Reciprocating Compressors and Rotating Equipment would be a plus.Must have a Solid Electro-Mechanical Aptitude.Proven ability to sell both product and professional services (must be able to conceptualize and verbalize solutions to clients).Excellent account relationship management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be computer literate in all Windows based programsModerate to heavy overnight domestic travel required, approximately 50-60%The compensation package includes the following:Competitive salary including commissions plan, company supplied vehicle, home office setup and company paid travel expenses.Standard company benefits (vacation, health, 401k etc)If you feel you have the requirements for this position and want a great career opportunity with a growing company, send a cover letter and resume with your contact information to gene@doekerresource.com.
