Description: We are in need of 3-4 Field Installation Technicians for 6-8 weeks to support us with the UCLA Hospital Project. Correctly terminate cable in telephone closets utilizing BIC, 66 or other standard blocks; and terminate station cable on approved amphenols, RJ lls or other station type connectors, meeting the highest industry proficiency criteria. With a high degree of proficiency, independently plan, install, test, and repair all special services including 2 and 4 wire private line service for voice and data, single and multi point communications lines, modems, and other UCLA CTS product offerings. Provide field support for the Switch room to analyze needs for cable testing and fault isolation. Perform design and development work on electronic telephone systems, making unique or creative adaptations of existing implementations or techniques. Knowledge of Norstar is a plus. General knowledge of PBX switching systems operation and capabilities
