Darling, attractive Dutch Warmblood filly with KWPN papers. Bright bay with flashy white socks and diamond-shaped star, “April” is a true gem.


Has been handled daily since birth, easy to work around. Halters, leads quietly, stands on crossties, clips, grooming, pick feet, fly sprays, blankets, etc. Worked on bombproofing, walked over blankets, garbage bags, ropes around legs, dogs, balls, etc. She was sensible and brave since day one, nothing phased her! Curious, but always calm. Put a bareback pad and girth on her to see what she'd do, tightened it up and she went right back to grazing in hand! Walked right in first time trailering. Wears bridle, opens mouth to accept bit; has not started formal training.


Gets along with everyone, docile in the paddock. Gets turned out with mares and geldings alike.


She is a great mover, even through all the awkward foal stages; she likes to flick her toes! Smooth, quiet canter will be a dream to sit!


At only 20 months, there is still lots of growing left! Dam is 17.2h, this long legged filly should mature to 16.2.. Both dam and sire are reputed as amateur-friendly, EASY and athletic. Has great bloodlines for dressage AND hunters/equitation, a natural lead change & will truly excel in any discipline and make a fantastic Junior or Amateur mount!
