Required skills 1.5-7 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license. (Previous Flight Test experience highly desirable)
2.Must be able to read/intrepid engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
3.Proficient in wafer and hot air soldering.
4.Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.
5.Working level of knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
6.Must be knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
7.Possess an ability to work in a diverse work culture environment.
8.Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Desired skills Previous flight test or military fighter aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and or avionics desired.
Specific Job Description This position will be part of the aircraft maintence team supporting the F-35 at the Edwards AFB CA flight test site.
